Endra has defently the aspects of an nice sailing boat, and yet with her rolling sheer and her raking transom she differs much from all the able Sailing Yachts nowadays.

The shape and construction of endra follows obviously traditional rules. I designed her inspired by the esthetics of the boatbuilders at the time.
Not a needless edge, just the absolut minimum on a plain deck. A minimalism which came at high costs, all done in lonesome Labor by own hands.

Not for a jolly daysailing trip in the summer. But for a voyage of my heart, for the love of travelling Africa, to tribute a fascinating world what I think it deserves.

While Endra will be sheltered throuout the winter once more, I make use of the time by enhancing this and some more things…

But most of all a long and complex voyage has to be organised. Next summer Endra will sail one last time in the ease on the Swiss Mountain lakes. A last opportunity for you too to come aboard. Then she will be send off overseas, were her story once began.

It’s the beginning of a new chapter of rich colors, which I want to catch with better filming and tell a story of a odessey through a continent of contradictions.

Our first Stage will start in June 2027 in Mutsamudu on the Island of Comoros and lead to the coast of Tansania. It’s just the beginning of a longer voyage which will find its prosecution the following 3 years.

The preparations request research about weather, administration, and logistics. Meanwhile I‘m trying to find ways of financing the expedition.
